Career Position
Medical Assistant – Full Time
Jumpstart Your Clinical Career in Dermatology
Are you a dependable, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced medical environment? We're looking for compassionate Medical Assistants to support our providers and deliver outstanding care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist with medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain a clean, stocked work area
- Document patient histories in the EMR
- Support with biopsies, wound care, and post-procedure education
- Collect and label lab specimens
- Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare regimens
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow
- Follow all infection control, privacy, and safety protocols
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable and professional with a strong interest in healthcare
- Compassionate communicator with excellent organizational skills
- Able to follow protocols and adapt in a fast-paced setting
- Prior MA experience is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right candidate
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology or clinical workflows
- Experience in outpatient or dermatology environments
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: $15+/hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 9-hour shifts
- Flexible scheduling available for students or part-time candidates (full-time availability preferred)

Volunteer Position
Part-Time Clinical Volunteer for Pre-Health Students
MI Skin Center is searching for bright, hard-working individuals who are passionate about patient satisfaction!
Volunteer Duties
- Cleaning and stocking rooms
- Sterilizing medical tools
- Assisting in inventory management
- Greeting and escorting patients
- Various other operational tasks to streamline clinic workflow
Candidate Requirements
- Respectful and personable with patients
- Carries a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and help
- Able to comply with HIPAA requirements
We offer high flexibility with availability and scheduling; however, preference may be given to volunteers with more frequent or longer term availability.
